Family Art Saturday at Customs House Museum: Unleash Your Creativity with Cloud Painting

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, August 31, 2024, the Customs House Museum & Cultural Center will host an imaginative event, “Family Art Saturday: Cloud Painting,” inviting families to dive into a world of creativity and artistic fun. This event will transform the museum’s Family Art Studio into a whimsical space where participants of all ages can explore their artistic talents through the theme of cloud painting.

The hands-on event is designed to be a delightful experience for children and their parents, offering a chance to bond over painting and to explore the endless possibilities of the sky. Attendees will be encouraged to capture their visions of clouds on canvas, whether they envision dragons, butterflies, or other fantastical shapes drifting across the sky.

Participants will have the opportunity to paint their interpretations of cloud scenes, from soft, billowing clouds to imaginative and abstract representations. The event promises a supportive and enjoyable environment for both young artists and their families, fostering creativity and collaboration.

“Family Art Saturday: Cloud Painting” is free for museum members or included with paid admission. The event is suitable for children aged 3 and up, with an adult required to accompany each child. Parents will be actively involved in the creative process, making it a perfect opportunity for families to engage in artistic expression together.

This event not only encourages artistic exploration but also strengthens family bonds through shared creative activities.
