Paint Louis Celebrates 27th Year, Showcases Global Artistic Talent

ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Riverfront was abuzz with activity over the weekend as thousands gathered for Paint Louis, the city’s annual graffiti and music festival. This year’s event, marking its 27th year, drew over 250 artists from around the globe.

The festival, which began in 1997, is renowned for its vibrant display of graffiti art and live music. Among the standout contributors were members of the Bronx Team from Philadelphia, who traveled to St. Louis to create a series of “spider” murals.

Christian Rodriguez of the Bronx Team expressed enthusiasm about the event, stating, “We’ve been embracing this art form with dedication. It’s rewarding to see the broader community appreciate our passion. Our goal was to infuse a bit of East Coast flavor into St. Louis with our spider theme.”

The festival continues to provide a dynamic platform for graffiti artists and musicians, celebrating the diversity and creativity of urban art.
