The Rehoboth Art League will host Beginner Oil and Acrylic Painting classes from September 30 to October 21. Held on Monday afternoons from 1 to 4:30 p.m., these classes will be led by artist Barry Koplowitz.
Koplowitz’s course will cover the distinct and overlapping techniques of oil and acrylic painting. Students will learn the use of mediums versus thinners, layering techniques, glazing, toning, and color mixing. While the class will provide instruction on both mediums, students will paint exclusively in one medium of their choice. Koplowitz will offer individual guidance based on each student’s skill level and will supply source photos for the class.
