The Silk and Paper, Pure Heart – Contemporary Chinese Gongbi Painting Art Exhibition is currently on display at the China Cultural Center in Luxembourg, running until Saturday. Organized by the China Academy of Art, the exhibition opened on September 20, attended by prominent figures including Wang Yuan, Acting Charge d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Luxembourg; Zhou Qingfu, President of the China Academy of Art; and Wang Xiaohong, Director of the China Cultural Center.
Gongbi painting, a distinguished traditional Chinese art form, has evolved over thousands of years, developing a distinctive style. This exhibition features works from 22 contemporary Gongbi artists, highlighting their insights into the art form’s heritage, exploration, and innovation within a modern framework. The showcased pieces reflect the dynamic evolution of Gongbi painting in today’s artistic landscape.
