PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) — West Virginia artist Tom Acosta draws inspiration from his travels across the United States, but one mural resonates deeply with him on a personal level.
The mural, titled “Salute to All Veterans,” is a collaborative effort between Acosta and fellow artist Elden Justice. It poignantly portrays themes of war, homecoming, and the enduring impact of military service.
“Inspired by the events following 9/11, I felt a strong sense of patriotism and a desire to honor our veterans, particularly those who have served in combat,” Acosta remarked.
