Exeter Honors Bill Childs with 90th Birthday Art Retrospective

EXETER—The town of Exeter is paying tribute to one of its most cherished artists, Bill Childs, with a special exhibition titled “Bill Childs at 90: A Retrospective.” This showcase celebrates Childs’ remarkable artistic journey, featuring over 40 of his paintings.

Held at the Town Hall, the exhibition not only marks his 90th birthday but also highlights his enduring contributions to the art community as both a creator and teacher. Most of the displayed artworks will be available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds supporting the Seacoast Artist Association’s scholarship fund, ensuring that Childs’ legacy continues to inspire future generations of artists.
