Pickering Art Club to Host Annual Exhibition Next Weekend

The Pickering Art Club will present its annual exhibition from September 6 to 9 at the Whistler Room in Memorial Hall, Potter Hill, Pickering. The event is open to the public free of charge, featuring a diverse range of artworks including original paintings, drawings, collagraphs, and ceramics, most of which will be available for purchase.

Founded in 1978, the Pickering Art Club boasts approximately 65 members and operates out of The Memorial Hall in Pickering. The club organizes monthly evening art demonstrations by professional artists, typically held on the second Thursday of each month from 7 to 9 p.m. Additionally, a practical session takes place on the third Wednesday evening of each month, and the club hosts two workshops for members annually, one in spring and another in autumn.
