TENANTS HARBOR — Jackson Memorial Library will host an opening reception for local artist Stephen Teichman on Friday, September 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. The event will include light refreshments.
Teichman’s exhibition, which begins on Monday, September 9, will showcase his paintings alongside his forged jewelry. A farrier with over 50 years of experience, Teichman credits his mother’s artistic passion as his inspiration. “We need gateways to something greater than ourselves,” he remarked. “Art provides that for me. All art is inherently autobiographical, and my work tells a story about myself.”
