The 39th annual Riverwalk Fine Art Fair is set to showcase over 100 premier artists from across the country on September 21-22. The event will take place along Jackson Avenue and the Riverwalk in downtown Naperville, running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission to the fair is free.
Hosted by the Naperville Art League, the fair will display a diverse array of artworks, including paintings, sculptures, jewelry, ceramics, fiber art, and glass. Artists participating in the event underwent a rigorous jury process, with hundreds of applications reviewed to ensure the selection of high-quality, original pieces.
Debbie Venezia, Director of the Riverwalk Fine Art Fair, emphasized the event’s commitment to showcasing a broad spectrum of art forms. “We aim to present top-quality, original works that reflect a mix of mediums and styles,” Venezia said.
The fair is expected to attract over 50,000 visitors and is supported by a City of Naperville SECA grant and various sponsors. In addition to the art exhibits, attendees can enjoy live music, plein air painting demonstrations, and activities for children. Food vendors will also be on-site.
The Riverwalk Fine Art Fair is organized and managed by the volunteer members of the non-profit Naperville Art League. The league’s Naperville Fine Art Center & Gallery, located at 508 N. Center St., serves as a year-round community resource, offering classes, gallery exhibitions, auctions, and public art competitions.
