Kalaburagi is set to host a national artists camp organized by Chitravat Art Visions from Bengaluru, in collaboration with The Ideal Fine Art Society. The event will take place from October 2 to 7.
The camp will feature nearly 18 artists from various parts of the country. On October 3, Pune-based artist Amit C. Dhane will showcase his painting techniques. The following day, prominent visual artists including Anitha Reddy, Suresh Jayaram, Chintamani G.G., and Dattatreya N. Bhat will engage in discussions covering topics such as “Shaping Creative Practices with the Siddi Community,” “Locating Identity through Body and Materials,” and “Indian Contemporary Art and Art Criticism in Karnataka.”
