Chinese Nuclear Power Giant Hosts Exhibition Merging Science and Art

The exhibition titled All Growth Relies on Nuclear Energy opened on Friday at the 798 International Art Exchange Center in Beijing. Organized by China National Nuclear Power (CNNP) in collaboration with the 798 Art Festival, the event invites visitors to explore the fusion of science and art, highlighting the interplay between historical legacies and future innovations.

Featuring over 50 artworks, the exhibition showcases the unique appeal of nuclear energy technology and its symbiotic relationship with nature. According to CNNP, the pieces delve into the rich connection between traditional culture and modern industrial advancements.

The exhibition also aims to highlight the role of nuclear energy in various ecosystems, showcasing delicate white butterfly shells, vibrant corals, and extensive mangrove forests, emphasizing how nuclear energy supports biodiversity. Visitors will experience stunning landscapes surrounding nuclear power plants across China, including those at Qinshan, Jiangsu, and Sanmen. Through the eyes of artists, these works illustrate the “beauty of nuclear harmony,” telling a story of coexistence between nuclear power and the environment.
