Children’s Art Exhibition Celebrates Sino-French Diplomatic Relations

An exhibition showcasing 130 award-winning artworks by children from China and France opened on Sunday at the China Art Museum in Pudong, commemorating 60 years of diplomatic ties between the two nations and promoting cultural exchange.

The event is a key feature of the “From Suzhou Creek to Seine River” international cultural exchange initiative for youth from both countries.

The exhibition aims to spark public interest in the cultures and cities of both nations through children’s creative representations of shared human experiences, historical architecture, and lifestyles.

Visitors to the exhibition can enjoy a vibrant array of artworks created by young artists from diverse backgrounds.

“Before creating, we explored the history of Suzhou Creek and the Seine River, as well as the beautiful landmarks and cultural landscapes through books and the Internet. This preparation was like a wonderful adventure,” said 10-year-old Duan Xinming.
