The LSU Agriculture Student Association (ASA) held a pumpkin painting event on Monday from 3:30 to 5 p.m., aiming to foster connections among students and embrace the fall spirit as midterms conclude.
ASA’s mission is to represent students in the LSU College of Agriculture while promoting personal growth, friendships, and networking opportunities that enhance career paths. The organization serves as the voice for agriculture students at LSU and regularly hosts monthly events—ranging from social gatherings to community service and career-focused activities.
“When I was a freshman, I attended ASA events to meet more students in the College of Agriculture,” said Abbygail Davis, ASA president and a junior majoring in animal science. “Now, as a host, it’s wonderful to see students come together and connect through painting.”
Students from various majors participated, showcasing a wide range of creative designs that reflected their diverse backgrounds. From quirky to charming creations, the event highlighted the vibrant community within the college.
